If you've always thought that one of the big advantages of living in Illinois is our relative lack of deadly creatures (animal or insect), you might want to think about revising that opinion. We've got some nasty creepy-crawlies in the insect world, and they love living in Illinois.
Most of us get to see plenty of baby animals throughout the course of our lives, with puppies and kittens being the baby animals we're most likely to encounter. We also see baby horses, cows, goats, and ducks...but why do we never, ever see baby pigeons here in Illinois?
As we've seen over the years, there are plenty of reasons that foods get recalled. We've seen salmonella, E coli, listeria, pieces of metal, pieces of rubber, pieces of glass, and more...but this is the first recall I remember that used the terms "choking and gagging."
