There are some amazing attractions in Illinois. The "Bean" in Chicago, Lincoln's Museum in Springfield, and the Lincoln-Douglas Debate site in Quincy. However, there is one place that experts say is not worth your time.

Worst Attraction in Illinois

You may have seen this "attraction" on the big screen, especially every Ground Hog Day. The town of Woodstock where the famous movie was filmed is not a place you need to visit according to the experts at Travel Alot.

During January through early February, you can catch a showing of Groundhog Day in the Harold Ramis Auditorium at the Classic Cinemas Woodstock Theatre. Otherwise, you can stay at home and watch it on your TV.

Seems like the only time to visit to quaint little town is during the coldest months of the year, and really who wants to be outdoors when it's 20 degrees out?

The theatre is cute, and the town (from the photos) seems like a nice place to visit, but if you looking for a ton of things to do this is not the place it seems.

Missouri's Worst Attraction

If you are looking for souvenirs commemorating Route 66, Elvis, or vintage diners then Ozarkland is the place, but experts say if one of the worst attractions in Missouri. I have been to an Ozarkalnd and I enjoyed visiting the retail shop. It's cute and you do get everything you want in one place.

As always, take these experts with a grain of salt. If you love a place and it falls on a list like this don't stop going. In fact, keep going and post photos of your adventures to help make it a place to be instead of a place to avoid.
