Missouri’s Hidden Gems – Top Spots for Spectacular Fall Foliage
The change of the season brings bright red, orange, and yellow trees to the area. There are some beautiful places to visit this fall to get that perfect social media photo.
Working in my backyard this past weekend I noticed that my giant tree is starting to change color. Fall is on the way. So that got me thinking about the places to go to get those perfect fall photos, or even take in a perfect fall day
Hot Spots in Missouri for Fall Foliage
The Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis could be that hot spot. I've never been during the fall, but I bet it's one of the most beautiful places to visit during this time of year. the botanical garden is known for having several displays of fall foliage throughout the grounds. Plus, you can take in the Fest-of-Ale event later this month.

Another St. Louis location to check out is Castlewood State Park. Set along the Meramec River, it offers a fall hiking trail where you can enjoy the fresh air of fall. This would be a great spot for senior or family photos.
If you want to take more of a road trip head to Branson and explore Big Cedar Lodge and Dogwood Canyon. More of a luxurious way to experience fall. There are plenty of outdoor activities and stunning views of fall foliage.
It seems no matter what you decide to do there is plenty of places to go to explore, experience, and enjoy the wonderful fall season in Missouri.
