Missouri’s Best Steakhouse Has a Big Ole Bull on the Roof?
I don't want to scare any cows, but I have always been a big fan of hamburgers and steak. If that food group is important to you, too, you might be interested to know that Missouri's best steakhouse allegedly has a big ole bull on the roof.
While I do consider myself a food expert at least when it comes to eating, I leave the "best of" and "worst of" lists to the internet. Food Network is about as important as it gets when it comes to deciding what delicacies are good and which ones aren't. Their most recent list of best steakhouse in each state features a very unique Missouri place. Pay special attention to the roof of Jess & Jim's Steakhouse in Kansas City, Missouri.
While I tend to cheer for more Missouri small town places, I can't hold the big city against Jess & Jim's as they've been steak people for 74 years now and they're family-owned. Well done. (Steak pun intended)
The Food Network heaps praise on this Kansas City, Missouri steakhouse declaring that it was named the "best steakhouse in the world" back in 1972 by a...men's publication...(ahem).
I have not sampled the steak at Jess & Jim's as I don't venture to or through Kansas City much anymore, but perhaps this would be a nice dinner stop after the next Chiefs game you go to?
