A famous museum in Illinois is bringing back one of it's more popular shows for visitors to experience in 2026.

The Dark Side Of The Moon Returns To Adler Planetarium In 2026

Back when I was a kid, I was big into space. I think a lot of that had to do with the fact that I was a huge "Star Wars" fan. When I was in school, my friends and I found out about these Cosmic Light Shows at the Cernan Earth and Space Center at Triton College. It was basically a laser light show with a killer soundtrack. My favorite was always Pink Floyd.

The Adler Planetarium is taking those laser shows to the next level with Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon." I can not wait to check out this show, especially with all the latest and greatest technology.

According to the Adler Planetarium...

Go on a cosmic visual journey choreographed to one of the best-selling albums of all time!

“The show itself will be divided between the 10 tracks on the album, and in chronological order; each having a different theme; some futuristically looking forward and some a retro acknowledgement to Pink Floyd’s visual history, all relating to a time and space experience, embracing up to the minute technology that only a planetarium can offer,” says Pink Floyd album cover designer Aubrey Powell.

“In the modern parlance, it’s truly immersive; an all-encompassing surround sound treat that will transcend reality and take you way beyond the realms of 2D experience.”
