This latest incident at a famous fast-food restaurant just proves that thieves in Illinois will steal just about anything.

Strange Few Weeks At Illinois' Favorite Fast Food Joint

I would dare say that Portillo's is the most popular fast-food restaurant in Illinois. In fact, it's world-famous. People travel from all over to try one of their tasty menu items. For this particular location in Elmhurst, they've had a few strange weeks.

First of all, the local police were called to the scene because two women started fighting inside the restaurant. I guess they were hangry. Check out the story, HERE.

Then, officers were called back to this Portillo's because four employees started brawling with each other. Maybe, they were arguing about putting ketchup on hot dogs. See for yourself, HERE.

The latest incident at the Portillo's in Elmhurst is pretty strange. Thieves broke into the restaurant during the middle of the night and stole trays of bread.

According to patch.com,

Someone stole several bread trays between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Thursday from the back of Portillo's, 155 S. Route 83.

 

Better Items To Steal From Portillo's

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the bread from Portillo's but I wouldn't break in to steal any. I always recommend not breaking the law because jail isn't fun but we can use this as just a fun exercise. There are much better items to steal from the famous restaurant. How about Italian beef? Hot dogs? Shakes? I would really like to know more but unfortunately, I don't think that's going to happen.
