First of all, I would like to highly recommend to not break any laws in Illinois. It really isn't worth it. Especially, if you're going to end up spending any time in jail. Of course, that's what happens to most of the bad people in our state. Let's just be honest, it's usually a dumb criminal trying to pull off a stupid crime. That's never going to work out. I have the perfect example to back up my opinion.

At an initial glance, this seems like your ordinary average incident. A thief was wandering the streets of Chicago after midnight. He sees what he believes is an easy target, so he plans a quick caper. The suspect comes up with the scenario in his head and then goes for it. This guy never thought twice about getting caught.

The thief smashes a window of the business so he can get in. The man grabs money out of the cash register and then takes off from the scene on foot. A few minutes later officers spot the suspect a couple of blocks away just walking down the sidewalk. They arrested him and he went to jail.

Major Mistakes Made During Illinois Ice Cream Parlor Robbery

The suspect made some big blunders to cause his arrest and more importantly to be embarrassed. Don't steal from small local businesses. That's really uncool. Don't rob the place and stick around the area. Get the heck out of there. Here's the most embarrassing move about the whole crime. The guy broke into an ice cream shop and he didn't take any of the tasty products. How could you even resist? That should be the first thing he did. Maybe, at least try a couple of scoops.
