Sinnissippi Music Shell Announces Summer 2025 Concert Schedule

One of the things I really look forward to in Rockford each summer is the concert series at Sinnissippi Music Shell, and this year's schedule won't disappoint.

We have a real crown jewel in Rockford for outdoor concerts. I'm talking about the Sinnissippi Music Shell. It still blows my mind that some residents of the Forest City have never been there or it's been many years since they have.

Music In The Park 2025 Schedule For Sinnissippi Music Shell

This is the summer you have to check it out. The summer concert series is awesome. There are eight Thursday nights featuring Classic Rock tribute bands. It's just $5 to get in (which goes right back into venue improvements and helps cover the costs of bands), and it's well worth it.

There's even a bonus Saturday night show this fall. The venue is amazing, with great sound, seating, and views. There are food and beverages available for sale. The whole family is invited, and it's even dog-friendly. For more info, HERE.

Sinnissippi Music Shell 2025 Concert Schedule

• RESCHEDULED: Thursday, September 11th Jump (David Lee Roth Era Van Halen tribute)

• Saturday, September 13th Ozzy Rebourne (Ozzy Osbourne tribute)

• Saturday, September 20th Think Floyd (Pink Floyd tribute)

According to Rockford Park District in Illinois, Dedicated in 1950, the Music Shell in Sinnissippi Park is an acoustic amphitheater that can accommodate as many as 700 on benches, and up to 3,000 on the terraces and lawn.
