Now that all the 'Best Of 2024' reviews are starting to come out, the moments that captivated Illinoisans most this year are pretty fascinating.

Goodbye. 2024!

I'm not gonna lie, 2024 was a tough year for me, and I know it was for many other people too, but it's time to look forward to a new year and remember the GOOD times of the past one.

Here's the way I see it, every year has its own set of ups and downs, but there are still a ton of things to be thankful for.

Personally, I'm alive, my kids are healthy and thriving, I've had a lot of amazing experiences, made some new friends, and laughed a LOT in 2024, so that definitely outweighs the stresses I've had to endure this year.

I also learned a lot  in 2024 thanks to many hours of Google searches, so I know, without a doubt, that I highly contributed to the findings of Google's 2024 'Year In Search' study. (LOL!)

Most Googled Moments of 2024

This week Google released its annual 'Year In Search' review, which covers all of the questions and moments people in Illinois, and the rest of the world, searched for the most.

An article from NBC Chicago says;

 The results show terms that saw the highest spike in traffic compared to last year — ranging from key news events, notably global elections, to the most popular songs, athletes and unforgettable pop-culture moments that people looked up worldwide.

So, before we get to some of the results, what do you think some of biggest trending searches in 2024 were? I'll go on a limb and say Donald Trump and Taylor Swift were two of the most Googled people, but am I right? Let's find out...
