Dreams came true all over the Stateline area with the official opening of Hard Rock Rockford last weekend, but have you gone to check it out for yourself yet?

This past Sunday my husband and I went to Hard Rock Rockford on a date night, and I was absolutely blown away when I first stepped inside the doors.

It's beautiful! It's exciting! I loved looking at all the music memorabilia hanging everywhere throughout the building! (I had to take this pic for my two Swiftie daughters...)

If I had to sum up my first impression of Hard Rock Rockford in just one sentence I think it would be this;

It still doesn't seem real that such a cool and fancy place is right here in Rockford!

What to Expect at a Hard Rock Live Rockford Show

I'm not much of a gambler, but the vibe of the place totally had me wanting to pull out my wallet! We were there Sunday night for a bigger purpose though; to enjoy some drinks and see Brad Paisley in concert.

First off, as I expected, Brad Paisley put on a great show!  My husband had never seen Brad in concert before, and he said to me, "dang, it's just one hit after another". Yes Dear, Brad Paisley has a LOT of hit songs. Here's a few pics I took during the show..

Secondly, the Hard Rock Live venue seats 2,000 people so there is literally no bad seat in the house. (We were seated in the upper deck) It's intimate and impressive!

While I have no bad things to say about my first concert experience at Hard Rock Rockford, there are a few things future concertgoers need to be aware of:

  1. When it says doors at 7 p.m., the concert will start around 8 p.m.
  2. Once you enter the Hard Rock Live area, there is no re-entry. Besides wanting to gamble, you have no reason to leave during the show. There are bathrooms, drinks, and food all available in the area.
  3. Drinks are more expensive in the Hard Rock Live area. This is where the no re-entry rule is key. I saw many people trying to go out to the casino bars to get drinks (where they are cheaper) to bring back to the stage. You can't do it, so you might want to grab a few before you get your tickets scanned.

Now that you're in the know about how things works at Hard Rock Live Rockford, don't forget that the next Country show is Flannel Jam: Country + Rock Confidential on Sunday, October 6! It's going to be an amazing night, in an amazing new venue, with secret amazing artists, to benefit 2 amazing charities, and you'll be kicking your own behind if you miss it! Grab tickets now, here!
