Crowds will be gathering on the edge of the Rock River this summer to witness an exciting water ski show that has two weekly performances.
Water Ski Team Hosting Free Shows Through Labor Day
An all-volunteer water ski team from Loves Park, Illinois kicked off their season of performances this past week and will be back in action through the summer.
The Ski Broncs Water Ski Show Team is a favorite event for families in northern Illinois with free parking and entertainment at Shorewood Park every Wednesday and Friday night with the ski show beginning at 7 pm.

Wisconsin Has Longest Running Amateur Ski Show in the World
According to their website, the Min-Aqua Bats Water Ski Show began in 1950 and is still running today in Minocqua, Wisconsin on the Minocqua Lake in northern Wisconsin.
Min-Aqua Bats shows are free on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 7 pm.
Illinois Loves Its Water Ski Teams
Quality water ski entertainment is not hard to find in northern Illinois with several teams performing regular summer shows throughout the week.
If you're headed toward the Quad Cities, The Backwater Gamblers from Rock Island, Illinois have their free shows on "the backwaters of the Mississippi River" at 6:30 pm on Sundays and Wednesdays through Labor Day.
