The electrifying band Wayland opened the night, whose energetic performance captivated the audience and gained hundreds of new fans.
Their blend of rock and country set the perfect tone for the evening, leaving attendees excited as they eagerly awaited to see who the surprise headliners would be.
Unforgettable Performances
It was an amazing atmosphere when Tommy DeCarlo belted out classics from legendary classic rock band Boston like "More Than a Feeling" which sent waves of nostalgia through the audience. Then it was Chris and Preston of Locash who brought the energy from the minute they hit the stage.
At the end of the night, Locash announced they would be filming some of their new music video during Flannel Jam and invited everyone from the audience to join at the front of the Hard Rock Live stage for "I Love This Life."
A couple of young boys from Pecatonica were pulled up on stage and handed a microphone and a guitar for the last song at this all-ages benefit concert.
A Community Bonded Through Music
Flannel Jam not only celebrated incredible talent but also strengthened the bonds within the Rockford community and raised thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children's Hospital and Easterseals, with support from Perfetti Van Melle, Bufalo Contracting, and Jewelry by Christopher.
Angela from Dixon attended the show and was excited about the performance commenting via our app messenger, "Y’all Lo Cash was amazing! There’s gonna be some sad people in the morning when they hear how much fun we all had! Boston was a nice bonus as well."
"Thanks for another great Flannel Jam!! Locash was amazing!," said Shannon from Loves Park.
