Are these strange YouTube channels just cashing in on popular kids cartoons or is something more nefarious going on?

As a father of three young boys, all of them have used YouTube at one time or another. If you're a parent, there's a good chance you've done the same.

It should go without saying but if you let your child on the internet without any adult supervision they're bound to land somewhere they probably shouldn't. That's what makes this story and subsequent video that much more creepy and scary.

I was made aware about these strange YouTube happenings on Twitter by Joe Rogan.

Watch the video and decide for yourself. It was one of those times I was sad but as a parent, I was glad I did.

Worse yet, I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any means, but the themes of the videos and abundance of different cartoons all telling the same scary stories over and over make me wonder if something is going on.

What do you think? Overly violent cartoon cash-in videos from Europe, and/or Asia or is there a group of evil people using YouTube to indoctrinate young children?
