Dollar Tree

I love Dollar Tree because I'm always looking to save as much as I can and they're conveniently located right down the street from my apartment.

More stores are closing due to the economy, online shopping and crime.

It's obvious now that it's going to be a very long year for both Dollar Tree and Family Dollar stores as suddenly there are even more Illinois locations that have landed on the closing soon list.

Illinois shoppers will soon have to whip out a few extra dollars when shopping at Dollar Tree stores after the company announced another price hike in 2024.

Well, this was unexpected by many. What began as a purchase of one big bargain retailer by another has resulted in 1,000 Family Dollar stores closing. The question now is if and/or how many Missouri and Illinois locations will be affected.

If you're the person that decided it would be a good idea to buy onion rings from Dollar Tree in Missouri or Illinois, please know they have been recalled because of allergy dangers.

It's stories like these that keep me asking, "WHY?"

Selling alcohol is the latest effort, from Familia's Dollar, to attempt to overhaul their stores. And it's not the only change coming.

So what, is it going to be called the $1.50 Tree?
