Illinois snowplow driver faces unexpected challenge with unwanted passenger.

Several states are facing a shortage of salt-truck and snowplow drivers going into the winter season, and what do you know---Illinois is one of them.

I pretty much like nothing about driving in Winter. The worst is dirty snow and salt that keep our cars (and coats) looking nasty. And, that salt is damaging.

Northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin got hit with a lot of snow overnight Tuesday. This GIF from WDoT shows the challenge awaiting the plow crew.

It's men like this that make America great. This kind of ingenuity is why my hand is on my chest and the National Anthem is playing in my head.
