This is What People Want to Know About Illinois, According to Google

What do you when you're bored at work? You Google stuff; and believe it or not, for whatever reason, people want to know stuff about Illinois. Maybe they want to move here, or they're planning a trip to Springfield or Chicago- who knows; there's endless possibilities. Heck, there's even things that people already know about the Land of Lincoln, but they just need to get a better understanding as to "why is Illinois so....?"

Mental Floss did some research to see what it was that people wanted to know about each state when they asked Google, "Why is [state] so...." and it found that the number one thing people want to know about Illinois is why is the state broke?
