Baseball and Mr. Belding at Kane County Cougars Game Saturday

If you're looking for a little road trip back to the 90s this weekend, you'll find it about 90 minutes away.

Every year my sister organizes a family trip to the Kane County Cougars game. She lives in Batavia, which is pretty close to the stadium, and she always manages to pick the sweatiest day of summer.

She quite possibly did that again this year, as we are expecting record breaking temperatures Saturday, but this year she also picked the best theme night, the 90s!

Of course there's a baseball game, too, but really I'm going to meet Mr. Belding. 'Saved By the Bell,' is having a huge resurgence this summer in Chicago with the Saved By the Max diner, and now I get to meet the Big Bopper, too?

Dennis Haskins, who played Mr. Belding, will be throwing out the first pitch at the game Saturday, and will also be signing autographs during the game.

That's not all the 90s you're getting. Too White Crew is performing before the game, 90s music will be blasting throughout the game, there will be a Mario Kart race, and 90s themed fireworks at the end of the night.

Tickets are still available but I have a feeling they won't last too long.
