Dad selfies are the best kind of selfies.

Twenty years ago, dads didn't take selfies. Ok, sure it's because taking selfies with a real camera isn't quite as easy as with a cell phone, but people still did it. Just not dads.

Times have changed. I think dad selfies are probably the most "liked" kind on social media. Whether you are the dad or have the dad, people will like your photo just for the fact that the selfie has crossed the generation gap. Sure, mom selfies are fine, but it's the dad selfies that get the most appreciation.

For example, last month I was in a wedding and my parents were there. I took a lot of pictures that night, and I put them all over Facebook and Instagram, but there was just one that garnered actual attention.
