This bridesmaid tip is a little touchy because saying no is hard. Man, saying no to anything is really hard, but saying no to your friend or family member who is asking for you to stand next to them while they get married is really hard, but, sometimes it's for the best.

Being in a wedding is expensive and time consuming. There are parties and showers and events to attend and with that comes gifts, planning and transportation you have to pay for.

If someone asks you to be in their wedding and you really don't think it's a good idea, just talk it over with them and explain why. If they are truly your friend, they will understand... and if not then you probably wouldn't have a great experience being part of their wedding either!
