[UPDATE] Rockford Mass Transit Bus Drivers Change Strike Date

If you rely on the RMTD bus system, This is a 'must read'. The bus drivers union is threatening to strike on Tuesday, October 25, and that could affect thousands.

The union that supplies the drivers is going on strike next week according to wrex.com. Approximately 1.7 million people ride the buses each year and this could be detrimental for some Rockford folks. Even the bus drivers are saying that they don't want to strike because they know how many people rely on them for transportation to work, doctor's appointments, and other necessary places.

Hopefully this strike won't last long. If so, Uber is probably going to be getting a lot more business. For now, say a prayer and hope that an agreement is reached soon and that the people of Rockford are still able to get to where they need to go every day.
