Teacher of the Week: Mrs. Conley from West CAPA

Congratulations to our newest Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Conley from West CAPA in Rockford.

Mrs. Conley was rewarded with beautiful flowers from Broadway Florist and delicious cupcakes from Sugar Jones.

The winning nomination came from Kathy Holt, Kathy writes:

Every year, West CAPA puts on their yearly dance concert. This is no easy task.

Mrs. Conley has to coordinate 3 classes of dancers (around 50 students) all with varying skills in dance. She needs to come up with a theme, choose music and choreograph around 20 dances. Also, come up with costumes. This is a very heavy load for anyone. She puts in many hours after school doing this.

My daughter has danced with her the past 3 years and I have personally witnessed how much of her heart and soul she gives to her students.

My daughter graduates this year and this would be a very small token of how much we appreciate her and how much her students love her.
