Teacher of the Week: Professor Troxel, Rockford University

Congratulations to Professor Troxel at Rockford University. She is 97ZOK's Teacher of the Week.

Professor Troxel is now the proud owner of a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Broadway Florist and delicious cupcakes from Sugar Jones.

Professor Troxel is most deserving of the honor. We received emails from many of her students explaining everything that she has done for them.

Taylor McLaughlin writes:

Professor Troxel volunteered to take over our senior nursing class over half way through the semester! She goes above and beyond to make sure her students are successful and that she is preparing the best possible nurses! She is a very busy woman and has also suffered from many health issues yet that has not stopped her from helping out her students and leading by example what an excellent educator consists of."

Professor Troxel has been an outstanding instructor for our Pediatric Nursing and Research classes, and has been an excellent role model for nursing students at Rockford University. She is a TRUE LEADER who has stepped up to the plate to help the graduating nursing class of 2014 through our final semester. Cheryl has proven herself to be one of the most compassionate teachers that I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. She deserves much recognition for all that she has done for us future nurses!!!! :)"
