Selfies are all over the place but did you know, those who are taking 'selfies' might be calling them the wrong thing.

Think about it, when there is more than one person in the shot, it's no longer a self photo. What is it called then? Apparently, those types of pictures are called "usies."

Taking an usie is better than taking a selfie, if for no other reason, it shows that you have a friend or two. I guess if it's just two people taking a picture together it should be called a wesie? Maybe a twosie?

According to Michal Ann Strahilevitz, a professor Golden Gate University in San Francisco, tells NBC Chicago, "Usies are a growing trend that I think have far more social value than selfies, it's magical capturing moments we share with other people."

Selfies are now pictures of the friendless. Usies are the pictures of the friend-ful.
