What Would Your Name Be if You Were Born Today?

Oh my gosh, this is so much fun.

Time Magazine has just come out with the coolest feature - you can find out what your name would be if you were born today.

Here's how it works: You enter your name, the year you were born and your sex; the name generator then figures out what your birth name was ranked on the day you were born. Then it takes that rank and finds the name with the same rank in 2015. Make sense?

For example, my birth name is Mandy and I was born in 1979; my name was the 116th most popular name that year. Geez, you would think that Barry Manilow's "Mandy" would've at least pushed it into the top 20.

If my parents would've given me the 116th most popular name today, it would've been Brielle. I think I actually like that better; it has sort of a Disney princess ring to it.  It also shows what your name would be in other decades, leading back to the 1800s.
