Sunscreen is your friend.

I try to repeat that to myself all the time, sunscreen, Michelle, sunscreen! I wouldn't say that I'm the best at remembering it all the time, but I do wear make-up that specifically has SPF in it, and I haven't been to a tanning bed in years.

Spray tans are my best friend.

A woman who probably promotes spray tans ten million times more than I do, Tawny Willoughby is 27, and was first diagnosed with skin cancer at 21. She shared this photo on Facebook to promote skin cancer awareness, and over 57,000 people have shared it since then.

It's so sad to see what Tawny is going through but her courage to share her story in hopes of helping people see the dangers of the sun are amazing.

Now go get some sunscreen. And a spray tan.
