Nearby Drive-In Theater Opening This Weekend With A Massive Marvel Double Feature

The latest (and possibly greatest) Marvel movie is set to open this weekend, but a nearby drive-in theater is giving you a chance to get caught up.

There was plenty of buzz surrounding Captain Marvel when it hit theaters this past winter but there were some people who decided to sit it out.

That might be why the Midway Drive-In in Sterling, just an hour or so outside of Rockford, is opening their 2019 outdoor movie season by showing Captain Marvel as part of a double feature showing before the brand new Marvel flick, Avengers: End Game.

Based on the Midway Drive-In Facebook post, it looks like the new Avengers movie will show first. So I'm not quite sure what that's all about.

Don't you think it would make MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) timeline sense for them to show Captain Marvel first?

Either way, the Midway Drive-In box office opens at 6:45 p.m. and the movie begins at 8 p.m.
