A Large Winged, Nine Foot Creature Spotted in Woodstock, IL

According to Singular Fortean Society, a large, almost 9-foot-tall, Winged creature "covered in dark fur" was spotted in Woodstock, Illinois. Say what?

Lon Strickler, of Phantoms and Monsters, got an e-mail about a strange sighting in Woodstock, IL back on 2/22. The woman's e-mail explains that her husband was returning home from Walgreens in Woodstock and witnessed an 8-9 foot tall leathery looking winged creature.

The husband seemed a little spooked and didn't want to reach out to Phantoms and Monsters about his encounter.

Is this all real? Or was it a product of Nyquil and a 40oz purchased at Walgreens? You decide.
