Why Everyone Is Running To Aldi Stores in Illinois To Buy These

I don't know what it is about Aldi's Advent calendars, but they bring out a different beast in me every single year.  The second Halloween is over, I'm already refreshing my email to see when the Advent calendars drop — and this year, they've dropped just last week!

If you've ever tried to snag one before, you already know: it's chaos in the best way.  People literally line up outside hours before the store opens, coffee in hand, ready to sprint to grab their favorite Advent before anyone else.  It's like the same people who sought out the damn Bearista cup at Starbucks, except you get so much more from these calendars!

This year, Aldi rolled out over 30 unique calendars, and I'm saving a little more to try and get every single one.  Call me crazy, but this is the one time of the year that I splurge so I might as well go big.

A little big of something for me, my furbabies, my mom, my belly, and to help me relax!  Aldi told USA TODAY that they're bringing back specially curated Winter Wonderland line for a second year, and honestly, I'm not surprised.  These calendars make the perfect gift or treat for yourself!

If you're not into the Advents, maybe go with the Aldi village figurines!  I got one for me and my sister one year, and they sit on our shelves lookin' so beautiful.
