Apple Intelligence Settlement Claims Are Now Open
If you missed it, a lawsuit alleging Apple misled customers about Apple Intelligence capabilities was settled, even though Apple claims it did nothing wrong.
Nonetheless, some 37 million devices purchased in the United States could be covered. Eligible iPhones need to have been purchased between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, and include these models:
- All iPhone 16 models
- iPhone 15 Pro
- iPhone 15 Pro Max
How Much Could iPhone Owners Get From the Settlement?
If you own one or more of those phones, you could be eligible for $25 per device, but depending on the number of valid claims and other factors, payments could reach up to $95 per device.
Here's the other thing: watch for an email with a claim ID and PIN. If you don't get one, you can use another process to see if you're eligible, but you'll need your phone's serial number, which you can find under Settings, then General, and then About.
