Beetlejuice 2 Set To Haunt Joliet: Excitement Builds In Illinois

Are you ready for a Beetlejuice Beetlejuice bar? It's coming to Joliet, Illinois this October. 

It seems like every year we say, 'Hollywood is out of ideas,' as they bring out sequel after sequel and remake after remake, but I'm pretty darn sure 2024 takes the cake when it comes to this idea.

Have we just accepted there aren't many options left for new ideas? I guess so, because another huge movie is coming out this year that we probably could've used a few decades ago.

I'm talking about Beetlejuice 2, or the actual name of the movie, 'Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice.'

The movie hits theaters on September 6, and starting October 3, you can visit a Beetlejuice themed bar to celebrate all this Beetlejuice in Joliet, Illinois.

While Beetlejuice was obviously a huge pop culture icon, I can't remember what the movie was about...

I know Michael Keaton was Beetlejuice (and he's back for the sequel), and Wynona Rider is Lydia and she's mad at her parents or something? Or maybe they died? One of them might be Geena Davis?

Other than that, I just know that you aren't supposed to say Beetlejuice three times, or maybe you are? Is that how he appears?

And I know the song they play at the end of the movie as Lydia floats in the house.

So I need to watch the first movie again if I plan to see the second and I also want to hear more about this Beetlejuice pop-up. It's at 'On the Rocks - Joliet,' at 1500 Essington Rd, and I'm definitely following them on Facebook for more info!
