Illinois’ Top Family Hotel Has Colorful Rooms Created Just for Kids

Forget family rooms. Swissôtel Chicago, close to Millennium Park, has suites designed just for kids. Booked as part of a package with an adults’ room, each colorful suite is stocked with age-appropriate toys and games, while breakfast for everyone and an in-room movie are also included. The rest of the hotel continues the family-friendly vibes, while still being super-sleek and stylish, and downtown attractions, from Navy Pier to the Chicago Riverwalk, are within walking distance.

You can't go wrong when it comes to a place like this for the entire family.

That said, I was having a really difficult time booking a stay. If you're flexible, you could probably get a room at the Swissôtel in Chicago, but have patience, and oh yeah, bring your wallet.

An overnight stay at the Swissôtel starts at $319 a night. However, the reviews are off the charts. Diana mentioned her time at the Swissôtel "exceptional" and Alyson called the staff "friendly" and "welcoming."

That said, there are some things to be aware of besides the ginormous price to stay because it seems like amenities are pricey at Swissôtel. Shari called the eating at the hotel "very expensive."  Meanwhile, Eduardo said "you pay for everything" referring to room charges for wi-fi usage.

Either way, if you have the funds, you can have some family fun at the Swissôtel located at 323 East Wacker Drive.
