Illinois Restaurant Serves America’s Most ‘Absolutely Amazing’ Pancakes

I have the place for you if you're considering a breakfast or brunch spot this weekend.

Just thinking about diving into a stack of pancakes from this place makes my mouth water, and when I look at the reviews, it doesn't get any better.

Srijia R., a Yelp reviewer, says, "The signature berry bliss pancakes—absolutely amazing," while adding, "The excellent service and ambiance exceeded our expectations."

You could say I'm building this place too much, but Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe was named the BEST Pancake House in Illinois.

The signature Berry Bliss pancakes come with a vanilla crème anglaise, blackberry coulis, berry mascarpone and fresh berries. There are other options, including the decadent chocolate chip and banana, and the Oreo s’mores stacks.

The food sounds impressive, so what's the catch? Wildberry can get a little busy, leading to long wait times.

Waiting for a table seems to be the biggest issue I have noticed in reviews. There was also a mention or two of people talking about sharing the parking lot with Costco, which causes traffic concerns.
