Beyonce and Jay-Z's marriage is back on track after a cheating scandal threatened to tear them apart.

The couple spent most of 2018 touring around the world with their three children, Blue Ivy, 6, and twins Rumi and Sir, 1. A source close to Beyonce, 37, and Jay-Z told People it's been "a very special year for the whole family."

"Beyonce and Jay loved touring and connecting with their fans," the insider said.

The source continued, "They enjoyed bringing their whole family on tour. It was like a big adventure for everyone. They loved showing Blue around Europe, enjoyed solo date nights and family fun. Beyonce and Jay seem closer than ever. They are grateful for another wonderful year together. They are definitely looking back at this year with huge smiles."

In addition to their massively successful OTR II tour, which racked in more than $250 million, Beyonce and Jay-Z, 49, celebrated several major milestones in their life together this year. Among them was the first birthday of their second and third children, Ruminator and Sir.

The couple marked the occasion at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England. Jay-Z shouted out the twins after finishing "Young Forever," saying, "Happy birthday to Sir and Ruminator. We love you."

Beyonce waxed nostalgic about some of her major accomplishments in September, as she celebrated her birthday. In a heartfelt letter to fans, she fondly recalled welcoming her two youngest kids and remarrying Jay-Z to mark their 10th year together.

"At 36, I became a mother of three," she said in a post on her website. "I breastfed twins. I renewed vows with my husband of ten years."

The "Formation" singer continued, "I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything is Love. And we've been touring with our whole family around the world, and loving it."

Fans will just have to wait and see what 2019 brings for Beyonce, Jay-Z and their growing family.
