Blackhawks Goalie Unveils An ‘Excellent’ New Helmet

Scott Darling spent some time in Rockford before getting called up to Chicago, but after seeing his new goalie helmet, I wonder if he went to Aurora first.

The "excellent" new helmet features Garth Algar and Wayne Campbell from the Wayne's World skits made famous on Saturday Night Live and then two movies.

Algar and Campbell played by Dana Carvey and Mike Myers, now adorn the side of Darling's new hockey helmet.

It's a new look in a series of ground breaking helmet designs that Darling has used since his call up to Chicago.

Darling might be the back up to Crawford in Chicago but his goalie helmet designs are top notch.
