Google's annual list of the year's top global searches is out and it comes as no surprise what the top search was for 2014.

In 2014 the entire world was in tears over the passing of Robin Williams. Robin's passing was the thing we Googled most in the past year. There were so many beautifully sad tribute videos and I found myself googling Robin everyday for two-straight weeks.

Celebrity deaths usually show up on these year-end lists. Last year, the death of Paul Walker was high on this list, as were Nelson Mandela and "Glee's" Cory Monteith. Following Robin this year, is Joan Rivers, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Maya Angelou.
