Chicago Band Takes Over CTA, Performs Impromptu Christmas Classic

If you've ever taken a ride on Chicago public transit, it's not exactly the first place you'd think is synonymous with Christmas.

The band, Chicago Loud 9 decided an impromptu performance of Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" would be just the thing to turn it from just a boring train ride into something so much more.

Lead singer Aya Smith absolutely nails Carey's beloved Christmas hit and the horns compliment her voice so well, it's just perfect.

If you travel to Chicago during the holidays to shop, take in an event, visit with family or friends, there's always something in the Windy City that will surprise you.

You never know, you might even get a full band performance on an "L" train.
