These last few weeks have been a whirlwind for Thomas Brown, the Chicago Bears' interim head coach.

Brown has been in the spotlight due to his moves from Passing Game Coordinator to Offensive Coordinator and, just recently, interim Head Coach.

The Ultimate (Unwanted) Weight-Loss Program

So, what's the deal with the sudden weight loss? Brown joked, mentioning how the position's nonstop demands led him to forget to eat.

Brown said "If you increase tasks to your day, you forget about food."

While Brown seemed amused by his dramatic weight loss, it's a wild reminder of how much time these coaches put into their profession.

While most of us think coaching involves playbooks and game plans, it's so much more than that. Brown's forgetting to make a sandwich or go to lunch is an excellent example of the dedication needed to excel at the position.

Brown is even more pressured, whether he wants to admit it or not, considering he took over as interim Head Coach in the middle of the season.

Can the Bears Shed Their Struggles Too?

His job is to rally a team that has majorly underperformed while attempting to make himself a viable option to lead the team past this year.

All that's to say, if Brown gets the job, and with the amount of effort needed to coach this team, he will miss even more meals before the season concludes.
