Free Fun: Tons of No Charge Museum Days for Illinois Residents This February
I know it can't be just me, but February in Illinois is usually pretty tough.
If there's one month a year I'm reaching for the Happy Light, it's this one.

I feel like the lack of sunlight and the very short list of things to do typically send me into a tailspin.

However, some things will make me forget it's February and start planning a trip to the Windy City because there's a host of free things to do this month.
There is a grip of museums and other attractions, letting people in no charge this month as long as you're an Illinois resident.

All of these above offer free admission days for people looking to check out cultural and educational institutions without breaking the bank.
What I'm saying is that you can get a ton of art, history, science, and more for absolutely nothing.
Before you go, be sure to check each attraction's website for any potential changes, surcharges, or fees. Many ask that you reserve tickets in advance, either online or by phone.
If I were to visit all of these places in February, I would be so busy that I could probably put away the Happy Light for good.
