Chicago Native Who Fled Las Vegas Shooting Shares Touching Thank You
A Chicago native who escaped the Las Vegas shootings penned an emotional thank you on Instagram.
The woman, Tiffany Michelle, who according to her bio is "San Diego livin'" with a "sweet home Chicago" nod, shared a breathtaking account of the moments surrounding the Las Vegas shootings.
On Instagram, Michelle said, "Thank you for the brave men and women who stayed behind to help when everyone was running terrified for their lives."
Michelle also thanked an unnamed man who helped her over a fence, as well as two girls who helped her continue to run when they noticed she had gotten separated from her group.
She later thanks her husband who is a police officer and was in the group Michelle got separated from, saying he stayed "behind to hold pressure on gunshot wounds and carry people to trucks for departure to hospitals."
500 people were injured and 58 were killed in Las Vegas in the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
