Chicago's Field Museum Adds Fall and Winter Dates to Its 'No Admission' Days

If you live in Illinois, you are in for some cheap fun in Chicago this year!

Earlier this year, we found out a bunch of Chicago museums are filling the summer of 2016 will free admission dates, and now one of the biggest museums is adding fall and winter dates to that list.

Way to go, Field Museum!

If you are an Illinois resident, in addition to the free days you can visit the Field Museum in the summer, Time Out Chicago reports that you can also go to the museum for free on the following dates. Anyone else thing this sounds like an awesome field trip?

August 11, 27 and 29
September 10, 17*, 18 and 19
October 2, 16, 30 and 31
November 27
December 3, 4, and 18

*September 10 is "ID Day," where you can bring your own fossils, seashells, or rocks to the Field Museum and scientists will help you and your kids identify them.
