The lions who call Lincoln Park home are getting a home renovation worthy of the kings and queens they are.

Lincoln Park Zoo was just given a $15 million dollar gift and now a project to renovate the Kovler Lion House can begin.

Richard and Roxelyn Pepper's donation will kickstart the final phase of a $35 million Pride of Chicago campaign that has led to new homes for other animals, including penguins and polar bears at Lincoln Park Zoo, according to wgntv.com.

he new lion house will take two years to complete.
