Illinois Shoppers: Coolest Walmart Hack You Never Ever Knew About

I saw this on TikTok and had to share it because this might be one of those random little life hacks that genuinely make your shopping trip so much easier.

Apparently, Walmart has a feature in its app that can help you find exactly where an item is in the store.  And, if your Walmart has newer digital tags, it gets even cooler.

It's called "Flash Price Tag."

So, say you're at Walmart looking for something incredibly specific.  Maybe you need a certain kind of shampoo, a phone charger, some random thing your kid suddenly needs for school, or you're wandering around looking for an item you KNOW should be there.

Instead of doing the whole "Walmart walk" where you walk up and down every aisle hoping you'll eventually spot it, you can open the Walmart app and search for the product.

Once you find the item and its store location on the app:

• look for the "Flash Price Tag" option
• Tap it
• If your store has the newer digital self labels, the actual price tag on the shelf can start flashing a light

So you're basically standing there with your phone while the shelf tag is flashing to get your attention!

It's crazy that Walmart has this feature, yet they don't have Apple Pay or Tap to Pay yet.  Like, c'mon.

Walmart hasn't rolled out this feature at every location yet, the flashing feature depends on your location having the newer, digital tags installed.  The digital tags also allow the store to update prices and promotions digitally instead of employees having to manually replace all the little paper tags.
