Demi Lovato Just Got an Emotional New Tattoo
Demi Lovato added yet another tattoo to vast collection.
Just days after getting a rose tattoo on her finger to celebrate six months of sobriety, the "Sober" singer paid tribute to her late dog, Buddy, by honoring his memory in the most permanent way. She revealed via Instagram Stories that she got her pup's face and the words "Buddy was here" inked on her ankle.
"Thank you @_dr_woo_ for the incredible portrait of my late baby angel Buddy," Lovato wrote, thanking the tattoo artist. "RIP @demisbuddy. I will love you forever and ever and never forget you."
Lovato's beloved pup—who she shared with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama—tragically died in 2015 after being attacked by coyotes.
"We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this but Wilmer and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday," Demi wrote at the time. "He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident and though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we are staying strong."
