Did You Know Wisconsin’s Most Popular Celeb is Also an Avenger?
As a fan of all things Marvel, I have to admit I was surprised to find out that I didn't know this interesting tidbit.
As I was scrolling through Upbeat's list of The Most Famous Celebrities From Every State in America I saw Harrison Ford listed as Illinois' most famous.
That makes sense. Ford is a world-renowned actor who has appeared in some of the biggest flicks of all time.
Despite Ford's popularity, he has only been nominated for an Oscar once while Wisconsin's most popular celeb has three to his name.
Oh yeah, he was also an Avenger.
So I guess what I'm saying is Harrison Ford should be "green" with envy after realizing Wisconsin's most famous celeb might actually be a better actor and he also got to play the Hulk on the big screen.
Yep, Mark Ruffalo is apparently Wisconsin's most famous celeb per Upbeat:
You won't like him when he's angry, or, maybe you will. Mark Ruffalo is from Wisconsin! Despite the enormous football support in the cheesehead state, Ruffalo actually was more into wrestling. When Ruffalo was turning 14, his parents moved him to Virginia, but he still considers himself a Wisconsin boy.
According to Ruffalo's IMDb, he was "born on November 22, 1967, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, of humble means to father Frank Lawrence Ruffalo, a construction painter and Marie Rose (Hebert), a stylist and hairdresser."
Ruffalo is so much more than the Hulk too. Like I mentioned above, Ruffalo is a three-time Oscar nominee and a two-time Emmy winner.
Not bad for a kid from Kenosha.
