7 Best New Foods at the Wisconsin State Fair
Eating your way around the Wisconsin State Fair is a delightful caloric adventure filled with flavors and excitement.

The Wisconsin State Fair
August 1st through the 11th, it's time to get to eating. There are shows and rides (I've heard), but the food stands have missed me, so here's where I'm stopping to eat this year.
Beer Cheese and Brat Spud Muffin
They combine beer, cheese, and brats in some cheesy hash browns.

Come on you little hot and sweet thing. These are funnel cake bites infused with mozzarella and parmesan cheese, deep-fried, and topped with a blend of 6 different cheeses and chives. Served homemade Sriracha
Funnel Cake Root Beer Battered Cheese Curds

A pickle and the best Doritos flavor! The pickle is spiral-cut on a stick, rolled into crushed-up Cool Ranch Doritos, and deep-fried.
You can't do the fair eating display without the kids, and one of my daughters is a vegetarian. The WisCornDog is alternating bites of plant-based brat, kosher dill pickle, and cheddar cheese dipped in sweet cornmeal batter.
