Euphoria actor Lukas Gage was auditioning for an unidentified director's film via Zoom when the director was caught trash talking Gage's apartment, believing that he was muted.

On Friday (November 20), the Love, Victor star shared a video from the awkward Zoom call via Twitter, revealing how he navigated the infuriating situation gracefully. He captioned the clip, "PSA if you're a s--t talking director make sure to mute ur s--t on Zoom mtgings [sic]."

In the video, the anonymous director can be heard mumbling, "These poor people live in these tiny apartments. Like, I'm looking at his background and he's got his TV and, you know..."

Before he can finish, Gage cuts him off. "I know it’s a s---ty apartment. Give me this job so I can get a better one," the actor says.

Realizing his mistake, the director begins apologizing: "Oh my God, I'm so, so sorry ... I'm mortified."

"Listen, I'm living in a four by four box. It's fine," Gage adds. "Just give me the job, and we'll be fine."

Gage took the whole ordeal in stride and even retweeted some hilarious reactions to the Zoom meeting. Although the seemingly male British director's identity remains unconfirmed, some have speculated that it was Matthew Vaughn from the Kingsmen franchise.

Aside from his roles in Love, Victor and Euphoria, Gage has also appeared in Veronica Mars and American Vandal.
