Free samples are generally a good thing, but not everyone was happy when they got a free sample with their recent order from Forever 21.

Sometimes you wonder how a big business missed an obvious 'oops' before it got to the people.

While I totally understand marketing needs and love free stuff, I think I might be offended to get a diet bar with my clothing order too.

That's what happened recently when Forever 21 sent Atkins bars out as freebies to their customers.

While according to Glamour the bars were sent to all customers who purchased recent items, the most vocal group on social media were those who purchased plus size clothing and were given the bars.

Forever 21 has since apologized saying, 'The freebie items in question were included in all online orders, across all sizes and categories, for a limited time and have since been removed. This was an oversight on our part and we sincerely apologize for any offense this may have caused to our customers, as this was not our intention in any way.'

Maybe they should've sent out gum or something.
