Like all things art, movies are very subjective.

Even the worst movie of all time has its supporters. At the same time, the most beloved films could have their own detractors.

So I took this with a grain of salt when I saw Yardbarker's list of The 25 Most Insufferable Characters in Film History.

If you don't like Daniel LaRusso, fine, or if you look at Anakin Skywalker with disdain, I see you and somewhat agree.

However, I draw the line when it comes to dissing the characters in Swingers.

That was a big movie for me in the 90s. I loved it. It was one of the most quotable movies of the time and even to this day, you can't just say "Vegas, baby." without screaming "Vegas, baby. VEGAS!"

That iconic line was uttered by Illinois native and little-known actor at the time, Vince Vaughn.

Vaughn, born in Minnesota but raised in Lake Forest, his performance in Swingers lined up future projects. One year later, Vaughn was avoiding certain death in a Jurassic Park sequel.

Apparently, none of that matters because Yardbarker thinks his character, Trent from Swingers is one of the Most Insufferable Characters in Film History.

His character is kind of divisive. I agree on that, but that's what makes his role kind of iconic. The kind of part where careers are made. If Trent was played by anyone other than Vaughn, that movie wouldn't have been as well-received and because of that, Vince Vaughn will always be money, baby.
