Fifth Harmony and Camila Cabello Reunite at Latin American Music Awards… Sorta
The original Fifth Harmony lineup was in the house at the 2017 Latin American Music Awards—just not the way you think.
The band's current lineup of Dinah Jane, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke and Lauren Jauregui performed on the show Thursday night (October 26), shortly before former member Camila Cabello also took the stage, Entertainment Tonight reports.
Jane, Kordei, Brooke and Jaurequi teamed up with Pitbull during the festivities at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre for a rousing take on their song "Por Favor."
Later, Cabello jumped on the very same stage to perform a memorable bilingual take on her smash, "Havana."
This is the closest thing to a reunion fans of the band have received since Cabello left the group in December 2016, and comes amidst reports that the two sides aren't exactly too chummy.
Don't be surprised if they cross paths again, though: Cabello and Fifth Harmony plan to perform at the upcoming 2017 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball.
Interestingly, the band walked the red carpet before the show, while Cabello elected instead to pose for photos in the press room after she performed, leading to speculation that maybe she was trying to avoid an awkward run-in with her former bandmates.
