I wish I were joking in my title but researchers out of England are saying that smelling others bad gas can actually help prevent heart damage, strokes, diabetes and cancer. Looks like your gassy co-worker may just be doing you a favor!

The study suggests that one of chemicals in flatulence is hydrogen sulfide, which is what makes gas smell so bad, the more there is, the worse the smell.
